By 2024, more than 8,000 women-led businesses in India will have raised $23 billion in capital, accounting for 14.8 percent of the country's total technology capital. Currently, the percentage of professional women in India is only 10 percent, compared to 68 percent in China. A survey by Xeler8, an Indian venture capital database, shows that 670 companies were set up in India in 2016, of which 3% are gradually starting to be founded by women. Due to regulatory changes and labor market dynamics, more and more women are shifting from family roles to the workforce, and companies are increasingly inclined to hire women. Indian women's achievements in STI over the years cannot be underestimated, STI is commonly used to denote Scientific and Technical Information. This article examines how contemporary AI systems—especially diffusion-based generators trained on large image and text corpora—are reshaping authorship, originality, and aesthetic judgment in artistic practice. Rather than treating AI as an autonomous “creator,” we analyze two sites where human agency remains decisive: the provenance of training data and the human-in-the-loop stages of prompting, iterative selection, and post-editing. These mechanisms explain why AI outputs blur, but do not erase, the line between maker and tool. We argue that questions of creativity and credit arise not from machine “subjectivity,” but from distributed decision-making across datasets, model priors, and curatorial choices. Building on this view, the paper proposes a working notion of co-authorship: authorship accrues to those who shape objectives, constrain the generative space, and accept accountability for publication and display. This stance also reframes aesthetic value: judgments of beauty or significance depend on how models are steered, contextualized, and read by audiences, not only on algorithmic novelty. The conclusion outlines a practical human–AI collaboration paradigm—instrumental rather than agentive—that preserves intention, emotion, and imagination while using AI to extend repertoires of form and process. We delineate the scope and limits of this approach and indicate where empirical evaluation would be most informative.

The matter of gender equality has grown to become a major concern around the world. Nevertheless, there is still gender inequality, although it is expressed in various cultural and social systems. This article examines the multiple and tied determinants of gender inequality and focuses on the presence of social organization, cultural construct and institutional patterns. It uses a multi-dimensional method to review the case studies in Northern Europe, South Asia, and Africa to illustrate how gender hierarchies are maintained in diverse ways. The study shows that the inclusive policy of Nordic countries has reached steps in terms of gender equality, South Asian societies grapple with the concept of patriarchy, and matrilineal societies of Africa provide alternative gender models that become more and more endangered. Literature is also used in reinforcing as well as criticizing the inequalities of genders. The paper has highlighted the necessity of culturally and institutionally sensitive intervention to counter gender disparity, and supports the significance of cross-cultural sensitivity in the formulation of gender equality policies. However, the study is constrained by the fact that it is based on a few regions, and future researchers can develop the geographical coverage to a wider scope of cultural environments to gain a more comprehensive perspective on gender inequality in the world.

Online variety shows have become hugely popular in recent years, turning into a key channel for brands to advertise. Qi Pa Shuo, a debate-style talk show, stands out with its unique format, strong viewer engagement, and flexible content, making it a typical example of product placement in online entertainment. This paper looks at how Qi Pa Shuo uses different types of product placement, explores its creative strategies, and discusses both the positive effects and controversies that come with it. The study finds that while the show is successful in blending ads into its content and encouraging user interaction, it also faces problems like over-commercialization and audience fatigue. Additionally, the paper highlights the implications of such strategies for brand perception and audience emotional response and suggests areas for future research including demographic differences and the potential influence of AI-driven advertising strategies. This research offers insights for better balancing content and branding in online media.

In recent years, the participation of women in football journalism has gradually increased, but they still face major barriers to gaining recognition. Though Carrie Brown’s appointment as Chair of the Football Writers’ Association (FWA) in 2019 marked a historic milestone, female football coverage writers remain underrepresented, facing challenges like limited bylines, excessive coverage of women’s football, a focus on “soft” news, and a lack of opinion pieces. As football’s global dominance grows and audiences shift more towards online platforms, the paper carries out a content analysis of FourFourTwo, a football news website, to explore the roles of female football coverage writers, with a focus on the volume of their contributions, thematic emphases, and stylistic characteristics. The results show that women authored significantly fewer articles than men, with their contributions primarily centred on women’s football. In addition, opinion pieces authored by female journalists are scarce, suggesting potential constraints on their editorial roles and expressive scope.

This paper takes the notion of “indigenousness” (or “endogenousness” ) as a point of departure to examine the cultural and historical trajectory and theoretical construction of Chinese women’s cinema within its distinct cultural context. Unlike Western feminist cinema, which is often framed around well-defined theoretical concepts such as the “male gaze” and “gender oppression,” Chinese women’s cinema bears the deep imprint of China’s unique historical and cultural conditions, familial structures, processes of social transformation, identity formation, and, crucially, the emergence of female self-awareness shaped by these intersecting forces. By tracing the development of Chinese women’s cinema, this study outlines the construction of a uniquely primordial form of female subjectivity—one that is deeply rooted in the indigenous cultural and historical conditions—and explores the distinctive cinematic strategies through which this subjectivity is expressed. The analysis highlights how Chinese women’s cinema articulates a culturally embedded female consciousness through its original and context-specific narrative forms.

Drawing on the feminist film theory and socio-historical narrative theories, this paper examines the socio-historical changes from a female subjectivity-based perspective in Zhangke Jia’s film Mountains May Depart. The paper explores how the female protagonist embodies emotional displacement, identity dissolution, and cultural rupture during the social changes. Combining private emotional experience with structural critique of the society, the film traces the protagonist’s evolving subjectivity across the years 1999, 2014, and 2025. With the special camera techniques, temporal dis-junctions, and the nuanced body expressions, the film articulates memory, trauma and loss, not only at the personal level but as reflections of broader social and global changes. Tao Shen emerges as a witness to national and global transformations and a symbolic figure of global marginalization. This study argues that Mountains May Depart is a critical site for understanding how female agency, cultural identity, and emotional endurance intertwine within the dynamics of tradition, socio-historical transformations, modernity and globalization.

Internet addiction has been largely understood as a psychological disorder with severe consequences to individuals. Many of its correlations with potential risk factors like school climate and stress have been discovered and evaluated, yet few studies have applied its three-stage-cycle explanation to these correlations to reach a deeper understanding. This study aims to analyze the effect of risk factors like school climate and perceived stress on each stage of Internet addiction among adolescents, and offer a comparison. The study also examines the mediating effect of negative affect on these correlations, and takes a look at gender differences on this topic. 205 valid questionnaires were collected, assessing the participants by variables of school climate, perceived stress, negative affect, withdrawal and craving symptoms, and Internet addiction severity. Results and analysis demonstrate that the two risk factors were more significantly correlated with changes in severity of the Negative Affect/Withdrawal stage. A significant negative correlation and mediating effect of negative affect was found between school climate and Internet addiction, while no significant ones were found between perceived stress and Internet addiction. No significant differences were found between the two genders. In addition, no significant differences were found between genders. This study suggests potential new research directions of applying theoretical explanations to reach further understandings of Internet addiction, unexpected correlational and gender-related findings also suggest new explanations to the relationships between the different variables.

In the era of digital media and global communication, documentary film has evolved from a medium for recording reality into a powerful tool for political expression and social mobilization. In the US and UK, political documentaries not only chronicle social events but also shape and public discourse, reflecting the close relationship between media and power. This paper explores how American nonfiction films intervene in sociopolitical issues through narrative structures, aesthetic strategies, and political functions. Using a qualitative approach that combines historical review, textual analysis, and comparative case studies, this study examines 13th and Fahrenheit 9/11 . Findings indicate that these films strategically create a sense of “presence” and emotional resonance through cinematography, editing, and visual style. They use voice-over narration, interviews, and archival footage to construct multiple perspectives and enhance political persuasiveness. Emotional mobilization emerges as a key technique for emerging audiences and fostering social action. Moreover, while streaming platforms have broadened the reach of political documentaries, they also introduce challenges such as “filter bubbles” and fragmented expression. This research contributes to understanding the agenda-setting role, ethical boundaries, and public function of political documentaries and suggests future research on non-Western contexts and emerging technologies.

Against the backdrop of the intensifying aging of the population in China, rural areas, as traditional family-oriented societies, the marital status and marital quality of the younger generation have already become important factors influencing the happiness of elderly people. This study delved into Guangshan County, Henan Province, and collected 26 interview materials and 440 questionnaires through questionnaire surveys and on-site interviews. Using methods such as the multiple Logistic regression model and case analysis, empirical studies reveal that there is a notable inverse relationship between rural elderly individuals' perception of their children's marriage squeeze and their subjective well - being. The offspring's marriage squeeze reduces the subjective well-being of elderly people through four pathways: increasing parental transfer payments, reducing offspring's support for the elderly, decreasing emotional support, and reducing social participation, thus harming the subjective well-being of elderly people.
